Dennis Cattin
Owner
Dennis was raised in Southern California and graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Cal State Fullerton University. In 1975, Dennis and his wife Michelle moved to Bozeman to join the family business. Since that time, he and his partner Jim DeCosse have co-managed the store. Jim oversees the furniture department and Dennis the flooring department. Along with managing Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One, he has served on committees and in an advisory position with Carpet One. Within the Carpet One program he was the first store west of St. Louis to successfully launch the Carpet One Installation program. This program was an extensive installation certification program that enhanced installation services to the industries highest standards. Being community minded, Dennis has been highly involved with community. He has been on the Board of Directors and past president of the following: The Gallatin Developement Corp (now renamed Prospera), Board of Director & Executive Officer of the Southwest Montana Building Industry Association, Board of Director of the Gallatin Park County Youth Home. He has also been Board of Director and coach of several youth programs such as baseball, football, soccer leagues and AAU wrestling. He has a passion for the home furnishing business & the people that he works with.

Brian Cattin
Manager
Brian is a fourth generation family member of Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One. He joined the family business after being a business consultant for 5 years. After remodeling his own home, he realized that it would be a exciting and rewarding career.
Brian is now involved with the management and sales of flooring, furniture and window covering departments and is a buyer for furniture and flooring products. He provides assistance to the design and sales staff and is involved with Operations, Human Resources, Marketing and New Business Development for the store.

John has been with our flooring department since 2002 and has been recognized for his customer service time and time again. His knowledge of flooring and dedication to customers have made John a valuable asset to our customers, builders and developers.

Crystal Douglas
Flooring Specialist
Crystal has been in the home design industry for over five years. Her great sense of style, color and design has made her a valuable flooring specialist for our customers, interior designers, and contractors. Since joining the Carpet One team, she has gathered a wealth of knowledge in tile and natural stone products, applications and design. Crystal loves working closely with clients to help them create a space that reflects their personal tastes and lifestyle.

Sarah Fournier
Flooring Specialist
Sarah stepped into the interior design field three years ago, starting in the flooring business and then moving on to a local firm where she worked as an assitant designer. She joined the Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One team as a flooring specialist. Learning to become a Carpet One Sales Professional has allowed her to combine her design backgound with sales experience and enjoy working one-on-one with customers to improve the look and feel of their homes.

Weston Comfort
Flooring Specialist
Weston graduated from MSU with degrees in Management & Marketing. He moved to Las Vegas where he worked as a superintendent for Pulte Homes. After living in Las Vegas for three years, he quickly realized how much he missed the beauty and people of Montana. He joined the Carpet One team as a flooring specialist in 2009.

Rod Williamson
Warehouse Manager
Rod has been with the company since 2006 and is responsible for the flooring warehouse operations as well as binding carpet. He has Computer Science experience obtained at Montana State University and also helps with in-house computer repairs and running new network cable to company work stations. While serving in the Marines, he has gained much discipline which allows him to take great pride in his work.

Boone Barbao
Warehouse Assistant
Boone joined Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One in 2009 with a background in flooring. His involvement with his family flooring business has helped him gain over eight years of floor covering exposure. This makes him very valuable with assisting our installers with their installation supplies and material solutions. He takes a great deal of pride in his work while preparing flooring orders for every customer installation.
